I've been seeing a lot of pics of ponies playing guitar. I love the idea. I don't want to and probably can't top the fantastic art other people have done already, but it inspired me to do this. It'll let me get my funk on while making a tribute to a fantastic album.
I see Dash as a metal head. On the other had, I feel like there had to be some point in her life where she went through a punk (inb4 London Calling isn't punk) phase.
I would like to thank my bronies on /co/ for this one. I had some great feedback that actually allowed me to make this like 20% better in 10 seconds flat.
Any critique is always welcome, as usual.
EDIT: Forgot to mention... This is a reference to this album: [link]
Interesting that you use London Calling, because I actually compare Lauren Faust's career to that of The Clash. Of course, I'm also saying that her and Craig McCracken are comparable to Mick Jones and Joe Strummer. The Powerpuff Girls is the equivalent to that first album, straightfoward in terms of kids shows, and yet there was already experimentation in personalities of different girls. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is like Give 'em enough Rope, for all of their merits, both are essentially holding patterns. However, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is the equivalent of Jones or Strummer making London Calling as a solo album, and that album still being just as awesome. Both Friendship is Magic and London Calling still have their respective roots, but branch out into far greater territory.
Consequently, my fear with "Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls" is that it will have the same problems as Sandinista! There will be so many different personalities that not all of them can get properly developed and more than half of them turn into paperweights (more or less).

Mesmerize is a good album though.
Nice Work!
